[Cialug] Slack and Fediverse discussion

Is the intent to replicate our twitter account or add fediverse updates from our webpage?

For a slack replacement, was matrix considered? Rolling back to IRC?   

I migrated from twitter to a mastodon instance a while back, I'm curious how this conversation evoloved!
