Here's a video showing how to do an unofficial Steam OS, you can make it
work with just about any AMD or Intel GPU or even an nVidia card. If you're
just using your preferred Linux distro w/ nVidia drivers you can run Steam.

I think it's sad that a lot of the modern games just run under Wine
(Proton) instead of natively, but most games seem to run pretty well from
what I've seen.
