Brian,
i freakin' love road trips, and one to SF is first-class
i love the sights, the contemplative opportunities (boring stretches), the
people, the small-time greasy spoons, the wildlife--deer, antelope, bison,
pheasant, grouse--trying to decide whether what i'm seeing is a bank of
clouds or a mountain range, coming to a screeching halt to see an
unanticipated canyon or arch, stopping to put chains on when it's sunny and
feels just fine
keep your gas tank full, filling stations are farther apart these days
bon voyage!
