I do not know of a way to do that. I know that the Google Reader Android app behaved that way... but it also had a habit of marking months of "read" posts as "unread", so I uninstalled it.
I use Google Reader directly from the Android browser and it truncates the list to 15 at a time. I read per category and mark a block of 15 read and go on to the next. It's not as nice as a full Firefox experience, but it's not bad. Just make sure you're not in "show details" mode.

I love rss feed readers. Way easier than trying to navigate and read 20 different sites every day. P.S. to Josh. Do you know how to make google reader only show the titles when you browse a feed like the mobile site does? I find myself scrolling way too much when I have entries in the feed that I don't want to read.
Here's my google reader bundle for tech stuff

Really? You guys are still doing daily readings? Of actual web sites?
Here are four Google Reader "bundles", from which you can generate OPML files to import into your own RSS readers:
Sysadmin Stuff: http://www.google.com/reader/bundle/user%2F05465999583289484584%2Fbundle%2Fsysadmin
IT News: http://www.google.com/reader/public/subscriptions/user%2F05465999583289484584%2Fbundle%2Fit-news
Security News: http://www.google.com/reader/bundle/user%2F05465999583289484584%2Fbundle%2Fsecurity
Security Attacks: http://www.google.com/reader/bundle/user%2F05465999583289484584%2Fbundle%2FSecurity%20Attack
I found that when I moved from daily reading to RSS, my data throughput went up by about 20x.

Thought it might be interesting to share reading lists.
What sites do others check on a daily basis to get their tech fix?
/. is a given.
