[Cialug] Audio recording under SuSE

We used audacity in the OpenPBX.org project. We had a voice actor record
the prompts for the phone system and voice mail etc. Then used audacity to
cut the prompts down to their size. This way we recorded the prompts at
"CD-quality" and then could reformat them to other formats.

I was amazed at how nice audacity was once I started working with it. The
whole prompt file was like 20 MB and audacity handled it pretty well.
