[Cialug] Mandriva Installation error on MegaRaid controller

Having troubles with my systems Raid Controller as I am begining to 
install Mandriva 2005 LE.

Server type: HP NetServer LH 3r

At the point during installation when it tries to install the driver for 
the Symbios|53c895 I recieve the following error:

insmod'ing module megaraid failed at /usr/bin/perl-install/modules.pm 
line 394

I believe I've tracked this down to needed to upgrade the megaraid 
controller's firmware.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
(if anyone sees this this Saturday morning, I'm building it now so 
immediate feedback would be a blessing :)
