Should work fine in FC3.
We just installed Debian on a Dell server with the Adaptec 8 channel
SATA RAID controller - the OS didn't need anything special, as the RAID
volume (raid1) showed up as a single scsi device.
On my personal server I just built, I used the built-in SATA controller,
and set up a software RAID. I had trouble with Mandrake 10.1 (the
current release) apparantly there's a bug in the initialization of the
software RAID, and it only loads the first device. I installed the
Mandrake 10.2 beta and it worked fine. The Mandrake software RAID tool
during setup is really easy to use.
