[DM-MUG] Back up and clone

Ray,
This is essentially correct. A backup could include invisible files,
but often backups are restricted to document files. A clone is
designed to produce the exact contents of your drive so that you
could simply boot from your cloned drive and continue your work.

For example, a tape drive could have a complete backup, but you
couldn't have a bootable drive (at least not if you wanted it to boot
this decade). The backup would have to be restored to a working
drive, whereas a clone would already be on a potentially bootable drive.
