You can try the iPhoto Buddy application (http://www.iphotobuddy.com/) to
share the Library.  One person explains how he uses it over at the Mac OS X
Hints website (

Another option would be to change the location of the library using the
terminal and the defaults command as someone explains at
http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20020107231049966&query=move+iPhoto+Library
.

This could easily be scripted.  I will work on something when I get home
tonight that you may be able to use for this second option.
