I ended up using Disk Utility to erase then using my Tiger disk to
reinstall and the Seagate now has Tiger on it and is
bootable...SuperDuper does make a disk bootable but I wasn't trying
to back up data, just make it a bootable disk.
Now the next Q is whether I can delete any stuff off the Seagate
[such as all those iApps and other things I won't really need] -- how
stripped down can I make it??? Safely???
