[Cialug] Gmail issue

It isn't, but it is. If it is sending email on behalf of your domain, then
it doesn't matter if it isn't receiving, relaying, storing, hosting, etc.
As far as the receiving server is concerned, the sending PBX has to pass
all of the tests your authoritative mail server for the domain would need
to pass.

Now, if you already have an authoritative mail server set up for your
domain, then the best way to resolve this issue is to have your PBX relay
through your authoritative mail server. Just be sure that mail server is
adding all the required DKIM, SPF, etc. "bits" before sending it on to the
recipient.
