Interesting, .. that appears to be a valid location for a script to run
after the network is up, .. but that seems to require
NetworkManagerDispatcher, but that isn't installed.

Is there a more modern equilavent?

Only because this is a script to tweak the firewall after boot, runs once
and then quits.
