[Cialug] Android/Printer Setup

Good points guys. I'll investigate when I can get to the cable modem (it's
in her room and she's sleepiong).
I just wonder why the printer has a wi-fi transciever if it isn't made to
be directly linked to a device of some kind, though I know that wouldn't be
possible if the devices were connect by a cable.
As far as "printer not being detected", that means that the Canon android
printing app detects the network, but doesn't detect the printer per se.
There is an ethernet port on the back of the cable modem. The printer
would be the only device necessary to be plugged in by ethernet if I can
take that route.

so, it should just be a matter of connecting the printer to that same SSID.

you trying to detect it, on what network, etc.
