[Cialug] Google Maps weirdness, ..

Tried for an ariel view on a netbook this AM, and saw a recent picture
(without the past three years).

Tried the SAME location this afternoon on a workstation, and the images
are at LEAST two years OLDER, with some funky 3D artifacts (e.g. treetops
and a huge flying squirrel shaped thing)!

Selecting "3D" shows perspecfive, .. but selecting "2D" does NOT remove
the 3D artifats.

 * Is there a way to speficy the newer images?

 * Get rid of the 3D effects entirely?
