[Cialug] I'm so bummed

We're  a centos shop.   The last couple of days I've been fighting getting
a VB centos 7.x vm running.   I've done a couple of plain installs and
tried some vm's from osboxes.org

No luck with trying to get graphical environment (gnome) running. I had
assumed the main problem was the fact that the windows host was running
Ryzen cpu.   It doesn't work on an intel host either.

After many failed attempts, I loaded up a Ubunto cosmic vm and everything
just works.   Looks like I might have to give up on centos and make the
move...
