Let's face it. You're just going to have to bite the bullet and build that 2TB x 6-disk SSD RAID array (yes, that's a redundant "array"... pardon the puns!) Superspeed storage server.

I am not an expert on the hardware side of things, but the bit of
googling I did does not look good. It would appear the only way is to use
2.5" drives.
