[Cialug] eth1 crash -> system crash

Had a really weird problem last night, .. eth1 started timing out, .. the
system apparently rebooted and eth1 came up non-functional (there were
link lights and traffic indications, .. but the if status showed down).

A clean reboot fixed the issue, but it would be nice to know the why to
prevent in the future.
