this probably isn't a surprise or really helpful, but just in case ...
about power consumption. all micros have a sleep/halt mode, amiright?
huh, Pi has no explicit HLT/sleep mode
WFI, Wait for Interrupt, puts the cpu into standby mode with core down and
caches up
looks like no support for either under linux
