[Cialug] Spontaneous Outbreak of Read-Only-ness

That happens if there is a detected problem with a file system. Linux
forces it to remount as read only to protect the data.
Do a deep fsck on those volumes and run drive tests using both smartctl and
the manufacturer's tools.
