[Cialug] Chromebook as Thin Client

is the linode to host the content?  then stream to the laptop or to the TV?  if everyone is going to stream to a local laptop, I'd just use my phone which I already have and is already charged

for TV content, I've had great success with a file server in the basement running plex + chromecast.  I do have a PC for random dodgy soccer streams and an apple TV, but chromecast gets the most use.  I use android, so chromecast works best, but apple TV/air play may be better if you're an iPhone user
