[Cialug] Encryption Questions

I have an external hard drive that I was using on a previous computer. I
chucked the old computer and built a new one. Now that I have the external
hard drive hooked up again, I have discovered that I apparently encrypted
the filesystem on it, using LUKS. Due to the wonders of context-sensitive
memory, I don't remember what the password to it was.

Where would I start in figuring out how to crack this thing? I have time
and resources.
