I've guzzled the Google Kool-Aid, check out the GooglePhotos
<http://www.google.com/photos/about/> app.

It's super-simple, both mobile and desktop; keeps both sync'd. Just
install, allow access to your photos and let it run over night. Be sure
you're plugged in and have WiFi on too; it will drain your device quick.

>From there it syncs every new photo going forward.

Then all are in the google-sphere. You can access the photos (in Chrome)
from any platform. If you want them sync'd to Linux, for whatever reason,
you can install the Google Drive app and all of your images are in the
"Photos" directory.
