[Cialug] LAMP/installers/distros

The way to select the lamp package on Ubuntu after installation is to run:

sudo tasksel

Doing so lets you install the LAMP package as well as some other
pre-configured server options. Just check the box next to the option you
want and it will install the needed packages and ask you any relevant
questions.
