Its that time to once again consider dumping Directv.   Has anyone
come up  with a DirectTV Genie like solution using off the shelf
components and OSS?

I'd like to be able to record local Ota hd programming, as well as
have access to Netflix streaming. I'd like  to view from multiple tv's
in different rooms.

As for commercial products, I'm thinking the channel master hd dvr
might be a good place to start.
