Sure, I don't doubt your abilities, and I think the LUG server is in good
hands.
I do think there is a general perception that Linux is more secure than
some other OS's, but for the general user, that means applying updates and
maybe rebooting occasionally.
Out of curiosity, if you're able to disclose it, what flavor of *nix is
this server with the long uptime?
