Interesting.
On a related note, there was a Slashdot article a year or two ago about
a new Linux kernel feature that would obviate the need for reboots after
an update. I thought it was supposed to be for the Linux kernel itself,
not 3rd party. Does that ring any bells? At the time it sounded really
cool, and I always kept it in the back of my mind.
