I just downloaded a PPT, and LO *refused* to open it (it tried to
'import', which is garbage).

Opened the SAME file in LO on Windoze, and it imported just fine! Saved it
as an .odp, and now it also opens just fine on Linux.

Has anyone experienced this sort of behavior? I seem to recall a number of
import problems with LO on Linux in the past, but there are no uninstalled
packages that might affect this behavior.

Is there something I am missing, or must I keep a Windoze machine around
when importing files?
