I searched for 'xfce launcher' and came up with this (further searches may
help you if this is too old). Posted in 2006; may be current or not. Gnome
seems to have removed the launcher features I'm accustomed to in previous
releases, though Debian 6.0's Gnome still has it. I keep trying in
different distros, but they seem to have set it up in a way that is much
more obvious to those who haven't been used to doing it another way (while
removing the old way so we won't be confused)...
