MB, .. it's a new HP MicroServer. It boots just fine up until it tries to
mount root, .. tries the wrong device, .. then the correct one mounts but
it does not show the main menu to complete the installation.

The docs on creating a thumb drive were really sparse - is there possibly
something missing?
