the January meeting is next week, we'll be meeting at Area515, Des
Moines' maker space

there is no topic at this point, but we'll have nominations for next
month's elections.  you have to be a member to vote, and you have to be
a member to refuse a nomination.  membership is $10

current officers are:
president - Theron Conrey
vp - Kevin Smith (?)
treasurer - Barry Von Ahsen
secretary - Don Cady
sgt at arms - Ken Ristau (?)
science officer - Dan Arthur
