For PHP coding a LONG time ago (in the tech world anyways) I used
phpDesigner here: http://www.mpsoftware.dk/
It used to be free, and it used to be pretty good.  Like I said, haven't
used in years, but then again haven't written PHP in years.  Been stuck in
RAD/eclipse @ work doing JAVA for a long time now and ready to finally
switch to Visual Studio for SharePoint work.  Say what you want, but I
*like* visual studio and I'm sick to death of RAD.  Nothing will slow a
computer to a crawl quite like RAD 7.5 if you have less than 4GB of RAM.
