I appreciated them for the fact that they were one place to send folks 
to get non-dodgy downloads vs. go here then here then here or go to 
google, but don't click on the virus-laden version that googlespammed 
their way to the top :)

re: ad-aware - lavasoft eventually sent you there anyway, you were just 
saving a few steps
