You can't have both devices doing pppoe. Have your modem handle the pppoe, plug it into a switch, and then hang two routers/access points off that switch each with an IP in the static block you've been assigned.

M1000 (Main DSL Connection)
   |
   |
Netgear 24 port switch
   |
   |
DI-624 ->  wifi


Can you confirm that:
Q: Both the M1000 and DI-624 are connected to a single DSL connection and both are trying to pass credentials?

A: Yes, authentication is required for Quest's PPPoE connections. Both units have the (same exact) UN/PW configured into both of them.


Q: The DI-624 is using an IP address of 55.44.33.23?

A: Yes, 55.44.33.23 is configured into the DI-624.
