[Cialug] Windows 7 joining a Samba-based domain

I've been beating my head against a wall all day on this one...

I'm trying to get domain join to happen during sysprep of Windows 7 machines, but it keeps failing (the only error I see on the workstation side is "function exited with error 0x32"). Nothing useful is logged server side.

Now what is even more strange is that I'm seeing the domain join traffic when running Wireshark (or at least what looks like domain join traffic). Also, I'm able to join the VMs manually to the domain after sysprep.

Has anyone else ran into this with a Samba domain?
