Great story.
He was charging a pretty stiff premium ($25) for it, that's probably why
it was pirated. If there's one lesson I've learned from years in the
software business, if you want to charge for something, it's only worth
what people are wiling to pay for it, not what your own greed dictates,
and somewhat counter-intuitively you can often make a great deal more by
charging less.
