Hi, I agree, the sites are slow, the first one especially so. Maybe you're
getting a rush from the e-mail, but I clocked them using time GET
http://family.kulish.com/ > /tmp/output.txt
And they were 7-9 seconds for tech and 5-7 seconds for family. Comparing
that to my wordpress site, I get 0.869 seconds.
I looked at your HTTP headers and I don't see any sign that you're using a
PHP accelerator. That can boost your speed a good 7x on wordpress.
On Ubuntu, and probably Debian, you can do:
sudo apt-get install php5-xcache
It will enable itself and restart apache for you.
