[Cialug] [Slightly OT] High-speed DSL availability in DSM metro

HD Internet is available in the Beaverdale area of Des Moines.  I
upgraded to 7mbps about 6 months ago.   Speed is as advertized.  The
Actiontec Q1000 modem needs to be rebooted about every 1.5-2months in
order to get the connection working again.   

I would have preferred to use local ISP like InternetSolver or
Freese-Notis, but they didn't have anything higher than 1.5mbps at the
time.  1.5mbps is really getting close to being like a 56k modem with
today's web sites/applications.
