[Cialug] Hello and can I get some recommendations

Howdy Aaron,

For a first language, I understand that python will give you good indentation technique.  Perl is an easy language to learn that has similar syntax to many other languages.

The main thing to remember is that once you know one language, you can code in any language by just understanding the new language's syntax and having a function reference guide handy.  So, pick whatever language that you think will let you create something that you want, then create that program or script.
