[Cialug] Blackberry question

The rim sdk has an emulator but I've never tried to use any included apps, just things I have developed.

Does RIM have an emulator that would run on the desktop?  If the
emulator doesn't cost too much that would probably work better than
spending $$$ on a bunch of phones.  If you haven't already set it up,
Google includes a nice Android emulator in the developer kit.

I've got an older blackberry curve something or other that I'd be
willing to let go cheap.  It's a Verizon model so I don't know if it
would work on T-Mobile and I'm not sure if it supports any of the
newer operating systems.
