Ah, PR. Pretty important to keep the revolution moving.
We've had to share the job: Michael made some good posters (hey Michael,
better drop off another copy at the library- they took the old one down)
and I try to get us mentions on the radio and area media regularly with
varying success.
Others have helped by telling friends, posting the poster at work,
linking to our web site, etc.
Everybody's got to do a little to help, and most of us do at least a
little bit.
So far AmesLUG meeting attendance is on a slow but steady growth curve,
which makes me proud!
I think just reminding members regularly to think about how they can
keep the clubs growing is a great start, almost as good as a real PR guy!
Cheers,
Matt
