I picked up a used Atheros AR5001X (Branded Linksys I think) card which
is capable of doing master mode on ebay for $15 awhile back. Needs
madwifi drivers to pull that off, but you don't seem to need master mode
with your arrangement. Still, it's nice to have it available in case you
switch your topology.
