I told Windows to delete several gigs of tiny little text files on the
server mid-afternoon yesterday.  By the time I left it was still doing
its little animated folder icon.  I just logged into the server this
morning and there was a dialog box:

     “This folder is too big for the Recycle Bin.  Do you want to
permanently delete it?  Yes/No”

The progress bar hadn’t moved an inch.  It’s no wonder the Xbox does
so well.  Microsoft has had years of practice creating a video game
called “Windows”.
