It should say on the bottom or indicate from the model number what wireless network the card or WWAN will work with.  Otherwise you can use the model number and look it up on the lenovo web site.

The Lenovo web site also has a batter recall lookup based on the serial number on the battery.  You can just google lenovo battery recall and it should come up.
