How much are you spending for this setup? Just curious if I ever have
to roll my own. Where I work we just use NetApps for this purpose.

Yeah, I investigated it long and hard because the supported hardware
list is
a lot larger on Solaris, but in the end it looks like we'll be forced
into
OpenSolaris. I've also toyed with the idea of doing it on FreeBSD, but
I'm
not sure how well the ZFS implementation works on FreeBSD.

*slaps forehead* You're right. This is because you're using it in a
"commercial" context. It's free for personal use. I forgot about
that.
