I wrote this as a (sort of) whimsical response and tossed it in the 
"Drafts" folder because I thought it might be too vague to be helpful. 
Josh's response is really good, to I'll post it to underline what he 
suggests. (Josh, it didn't come off as harsh at all.)

Ask yourself: "How must I prepare?" and notice that your ultimate goal 
is yourself as mentor-worth-finding. :)
