[Cialug] CUPS Hole Punch

We're converting some of our COBOL stuff from a Debian 3.0 system to Ubuntu 10.04 and making the move from LPRng to CUPS at the same time. It used to be a option we could pass to the lp command, but I don't see it documented anywhere for CUPS.

There appears to be a scant few solutions out there, but it doesn't seem to be well documented, as you pointed out. Are you looking for something that's easy to install and already in place, or something to possibly program and setup?

Does anyone know what the magic option/incantation is for CUPS to do 3 hole punch on printers that support it? This doesn't seem to be documented anywhere...
