[Cialug] Mediacom fscking with web access?

I never saw a cookie set, and according to some information I saw in the DSL Reports forums, it's based on the cable modem's MAC.

They've never honored mine.  I didn't know it was cookie-based, but
I've used the same browser without clearing cookies.
