Tethering as in obtaining 'Net access for the netbook? That was one of my
fallbacks for this trip - I have actually tethered my Razor, but you can
no longer get minutes on slow speed like you used to, so it will require a
data plan.

The Pre does have an OS environment available, but, as you say, there is
not a lot available.

Sounds like there aren't any options out there that have been missed,
bummer.
