I spent my early days swapping from 143k(?) play disk to character disk in the Wizardry series and Ultima I/II/III and I
thought that was a huge improvement over the cassette tape storage on my Timex Sinclair. You guy's are all spoiled. ;)
On another topic, those early Seagates were nearly bullet proof. My first usable (IDE) HD's were seagates and I recall
using a pair of 104MB ones for years before one of them failed when a mouse peed on it. I'm not kidding. The stuff
stinks and makes a green foam when subjected to heat and electricity. (Please don't try this at home.) No doubt what it
was, I found half a cheesy puff that I had dropped and had disappeared before I managed to pick it up inside the case
and a wee bit of #2 near by. Those metal clips from the unused card slots really do serve a purpose.
