XUL is the mozilla UI descriptor language in XML.  Last I knew you
couldn't invoke XUL from a web page so it's likely FF that has a
"problem".  Poking around I see xulrunner-bin is a simple script that
invokes mozilla-launcher and I see no reason why that should be maxing
your proc out.
